Starting with actual assignment requests that the instructor has received, students take on projects as if they were their own, learning how to overcome hurdles and obstacles that arise. We also focus on the best ways to approach assignments with a desire to make unique images. Through class critique, students are encouraged to look at innovative and original ways to leave their comfort zone and take visual chances with their work.
