Nikuze Melanie, 54 of Gasabo, Rwanda, raises two Grandchildren: Aline Tuyishimire, 5 years old (leaning on a chair) and Gideon Tuyizere, two. Melanie says she running out of energy and it’s difficult for for her raising these kids. “I have nothing at all to feed them,” she said. Three of the children’s parents died of AIDS.
